Sneak Peek: Third Street Alliance Sacred Sewing Room

Third Street Alliance event sign about Sacred Sewing Room

The big reveal of the Third Street Alliance’s Sacred Sewing Room is almost here. The team has been working diligently to finish the flooring and painting. On the day of the big reveal, all of the furniture and sewing products will make the room complete. Some items undergo a bit of a transformation themselves before becoming a part of the Sacred Sewing Room. This cabinet was donated and painted by Vintage This, Repurpose That, a CeCe Caldwell’s Paints retailer.

The cabinet was painted in CeCe Caldwell’s “Blue Montana Sky” paint. The sewing chairs will also be painted with CeCe Caldwell’s Paints in the Enchanted Lilac, a color made especially for Enchanted Makeovers.

Additionally, items to decorate and stock the rooms have been gathered and some preliminary decorating has already started. Sometimes it’s the littlest details that are the most important in making a place feel like home.

The mural is also coming along nicely thanks to talented muralist Anita Roll. You can already see Terry’s vision of “Grandma’s House” coming to life.

We can’t wait to reveal the rooms to the women and children at Third Street Alliance! We’ll share the entire reveal here, too, so keep your eyes open for that future post. A HUGE thanks to all of our supporters involved with this Sacred Sewing Room and the entire tour.
